    Cleaning car windows

To avoid streaks when cleaning your car windows, use a soft towel and a good automotive glass cleaner. Wipe the interior side of the glass using a horizontal motion, then clean the exterior surface using a vertical motion. Because the wiping strokes intersect or overlap, you won't be left guessing which side of the glass has the streaks.

Do you hate it when bugs end up on the front of your car? Hard to scrub them off? Instead of wearing out your elbow or buying products to dissolve them, go into your garage and get your WD-40. Spray WD-40 on the area with the bugs, spray a little on your rag, and wipe your car clean. Now you are ready to go for a smooth, easy detail.

    Faulty Spark Plug Wires

Suspecting bad spark plug wires in your car? Instead of taking your vehicle to a repair shop for a $40-80 diagnostic test, simply troubleshoot spark plug wires in the dark. Wait until nightfall or turn your lights out in your garage. If a plug wire/wires have insulation broken down under the outer coating, you will see the plug wire arching between the wire and the engine block or an engine accessory. This is not easy to see during daylight or under artificial light. If you can't determine if it is the plug wires but still suspect them, auto parts stores sell a plug wire tool to detect a faulty plug wire for about $7-10.
