I use WD 40 on an old commercial dishwasher I often have to repair the thing goes through fuse like water but the doors never squeak and there's not a patch of rust on it
Can anyone tell why the small 2oz. can of WD-40 always fail to spray after they are just 6 months old? I keep buying these, with the thought that they are great to toss in your toolbox, glovebox, tackle box, etc... but the failure rate I've had on these little units is extradinary.
I get -maybe- 1 or 2 uses out of 'em before they fail to spray any more.
A few drops of WD-40 every few months keeps garage doors system running smoothly. Its a very good idea to keep your garage doors well maintained to avoid small problems developing into something more complicated.
This weekend I was going thru some of my old film camera's and found that a battery pack was left in my Pentax Auto 645 and the batteries exploded leaving rust. The only thing I could think of was scraping away as much corrosion as possible and sprayed it down with WD-40. It worked,WD -40 is helping get rid of the corrosion on the contacts.
